Dopo i progetti 92 Regata Colombo, la giunca a vela Bilbo 95-97, la Cape to Rio 2003, il decennio 2005-2016 di “Onelife”, una barca meravigliosa che ha navigato con grandi successi e che ci ha regalato esperienze importanti in giro per il mondo, attraversando oceani, passe, atolli, bars e raggiungendo vittorie oceaniche inaspettate e momenti di vera vita con anche salvataggi in mare, che abbiamo condiviso con le care ciurme, dobbiamo voltare pagina.

Abbiamo così deciso di fare un ulteriore passo verso nuove aree, ove la necessità di un mezzo speciale è indispensabile per ragioni termiche, di impatto e di pescaggio. Il progetto non è così duro e ambizioso: ci si prefigge di dedicare almeno 30 giorni dei prossimi 10 anni (LIFEXPLORER navigherà da 30 a 120 giorni all’anno), per raggiungere aree per noi nuove e parzialmente meno accessibili, un giro del mondo a vela questa volta passando dalle alte latitudini nord/sud/nord un po’ sulle tracce spirituali di Ernest Shackleton

Nasce così il Progetto Lifexplorer 2016-2026.

After the 92 Colombo Regatta project, the Bilbo 95-97 sailing junk, the Cape to Rio 2003, the 2005-2016 decade of “Onelife” a wonderful boat that has sailed with great success and that has given us important experiences around for the world, crossing oceans, passes, atolls, bars and reaching unexpected ocean victories and moments of real life with even rescues at sea, which we have shared with the dear crews, we must move on.

We have thus decided to take a further step towards new areas, where the need for a special vessel is essential for thermal, impact and draft reasons. The project is not so hard and ambitious: we aim to dedicate at least 30 days of the next 10 years (LIFEXPLORER will sail from 30 to 120 days a year), to reach new and partially less accessible areas for us, a world tour sailing this time passing from the high latitudes north/south/north a bit on the spiritual footsteps of Ernest Shackleton

Thus was born the Lifexplorer Project 2016-2026.
